Description

Colin,

Could you take a look at this issue and see if you can find a reason for it? If you don't get around to it, I'll take a look myself, but I'm strapped for time right now.

(made some progress on release 3.0 again..)

Thanks, Martijn

Right - do you have any specific text to try? Otherwise, I'll grab some Polish from a random web site.

Someone tried out some text on the SandBox page at vqwiki.org (hence this bug report) but I don't think that's usable. A more secure method would be the grab and run approach I guess.

shoot... forgot to mention this... the problem seems have surfaced with the recently introduced Polish translation (ApplicationResources_pl.properties) which contains special characters which are not displayed in the interface. As far as I could tell, the charaters were properly escaped into the UTF-8 realm though.

This can be closed as it seems to be fixed. The property force-encoding=UTF-8 needed to be set in vqwiki.properties.
